Second Installment of The Candlewood Series
The Haunting of Candlewood

The Haunting of Candlewood

Dear Ellen Newton Driscoll,

I absolutely loved The Haunting of Candlewood! It is by far the best book I have ever read. I love how you make people feel like they are actually in Candlewood Castle sitting there talking with Kevin and the others. I love the suspense in the book and when I read it, I didn’t know what to expect. I cannot wait until the third book, The Legend of the Dragon Sword, comes out. I would highly recommend these books to anyone who is fond of fantasies and especially dragons. I still haven’t switched books with my friend Holly Nelson yet, (whom you met at Lark Bookstore), but I can’t wait to read the first book in the Candlewood series.

One of yours and Candlewoods newest fans,

Awesome Book!!!
This book was one of the best I have read lately. The author does a great job of giving descriptions and details that truly let you see what she is writing about as you read. I believe this is a good read for any age, and content that will keep anybody wanting more.

The greatest book I've ever read in my life!
I am 10 years old and I loved this book so if you are 10 or 11 you might like this book so much that this book could be read over and over and still like it! (recommended age 10-14) And I also think this is a great book for other Elderly people such as 65-and down, this book really caught my attention for 3 reasons 1: The cover is awesome, and 2: I had advice from several people that said it was GREAT, and last but not least I read other peoples reviews to get some ideas. My opinion on this book is to read it and enjoy it, it's a great family book also!

Looking forward to book 2 on The Dragons of Candlewood!
I really enjoyed reading this book! I just couldn't put it down, I kept wanting to read just ONE MORE CHAPTER! I felt like I was right beside each of them on their adventures and felt their emotions too! This is a book even the adults will love!

Exciting
This book was great for me as well as my children. It has it all: excitement, suspense, love of parent to child and love of boy to his beloved dragon. It even has a smidgen of romance.

Plural of dragon got my interest-Candlewood?
I love the title it interested me immediately. Normally one maybe two dragons antagonize an area or woods. So I wondered why plural and where is Candlewood. During the first few pages it really got my attention answering these questions. I can't wait for the next book!
